AES-NI (AES New Instructions) provides AES acceleration for Intel Westmere [[Nehalem]] and [[Sandy Bridge]] processors, and AMD's [[Bulldozer]].

Support for AES-NI is present if [[CPUID]].01H:ECX.AES[bit 25] is set.
