The RCJ40-D five-band jammer

What all is required of a modern rolling war machine?

Chassis/Propulsion

  • We use the wheeled HAF 932 case.
  • How do we make it move?
    • Where do we want it to go?

Power Plant

ummm....

Sensing

Matter

Everything I've seen requires more space and power than we have available, and would require dexterity beyond that which we can trivially automate. It's probably better to add basic scoop-and-return capability.

  • Mass: AccuLab VIC-612 USB digital scales (610g x .01g) + ACCUSB rs232 to USB adapter
  • Spectrometry: SPECTECH UCS30 USB nuclear spectrometer
    • There appears (unsurprisingly) to be no spectrometer worth mentioning that can use USB power. Hijack a 6/8-pin PCIe line?

Electromagnetics

FIXME: Need detail antennae; obviously, we won't be using overmuch off-the-shelf...

  • Ionizing radiation: SparkFun SEN-09848 USB Geiger counter using ATMega328/ BlackCat Systems GM-45
  • Visible light: Phidget 1056 light sensor, Logitech C310 720p camera
  • IR: MosChip Semiconductor MCS7780 4Mbps Fast IrDA
  • Microwave: 2.4GHz IEEE802.11 b/g/n, 3.7GHz IEEE802.11y-2008, 5GHz IEEE802.11 a/n, Cambridge Silicon Radio Bluetooth
  • RF: 13.56MHz (RFID)/NFC: ACR122U R/W from http://buynfctags.com,
    • OpenPCD for longrange skimming (read-only)
  • RF: 900MHz ISM (RFID): DLP-RFID-UHF1B R/W from DigiKey

Circuits

Jamming

Obviously, any jammer worth the word will require its own power. We can of course use layer 2+-specific attacks where appropriate with effects greatly multiplied from the input power, in terms of additional "channel noise"....

Block interfaces

  • Flash: IOGear GFR 281 "56-in-1" reader/writer
  • eSATA
  • IEEE 1394
  • USB 1.x, 2.0, 3.0

Character interfaces

Weaponry

  • General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products (GDATP) MK47 MOD 0 "Striker" 40mm grenade launcher?
    • Just 38lbs empty!!
    • Where to purchase?
