Android ceased receiving updates on the Pixel XL 2 ("taimen") following 2020's 11.0.0.

Jailbreaking

Go to Settings→About Phone and get the firmware version/build number.
- Mine was RP1A.201005.004.A1 (December 2020)
Go to the Google Firmware Download page for "taimen", and download the image
